problem with community builder registration proces

13 years 10 months ago #154063 by dreampleasure
I have been setting up a new social network using Joomla 1.5.22, with community builder 1.3.1, and have so far designed the profile fields as well a couple of other sections of the site. Until now, I have prevented new user registering while designing the site.

However I wanted to test the registration process, so in the CB Configuration Manager, under the registration tab, under 'Allow User Registration' I selected the recommended option - 'yes, indepentantly of global site setting'

I have the Community Builder Login module installed and configured.

When I go to the front end of the site, and select 'Register' on the Login module, I am taken to the following link: www.mysite.com/component/comprofiler/registers.html

or without SEF:
www.mysite.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=registers

On this page, instead of there being a registration form, there is the following error message.

Warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.class.php on line 441

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.class.php on line 441

I have tried all combinations of setting the global configuration settings to Allow User Registration yes and no, it makes no difference.

I also tried to not use the community builder registration, and use joomla's own inbuilt registration process. This works fine, however leaves users under the community builder 'user manager' showing as 'pending approval' despite the fact that I have selected 'NO' under 'Require Admin Approval' in the community builder configuration manager!

I DO NOT want administrators to have to approve users

I also have JSeBlod CCk installed
i also have the latest versions of jcomments, admin tools, akeeba backup installed
Could any of these be causing a conflict?

I have used Community Builder before and am relatively experienced with Joomla. I have never encountered this problem.
