how to control a value field in registration form

Hi,
I use joomla 1.5.15
CB 1.3.1

I want to add a field to registration form, this field will contain SIREN code if client is a company, and I want to add a test for the value of this field --> how to add test for a field value?, please if you have an idea help me,

Code SIREN is an idantifiant for company(the company that I work with is French, I don't know may be this identifiant is used only in France),
that's not the problem, I know that with CB I can add a field in subscription form and that's ok, what I need is validate the value of this field, I have a javascript function to verifiy that the value added is the best one or not and I don't find a solution how to use this function
I hope that the problem is clear now ;) ;)

You can use a regular expression to validate any CB Text field.

If this is not enough you will need to code (or get someone to do it for you) a new CB field type to do the validation for you.
