CB1.4 - Formatname

Hi

I read several posts of how I can change the formatname - CB - Variable over the configuration in the Joomla-CB-Backend. Unfortunately, I can't choose the CB to only show the "firstname" instead of "name" (which shows firstname & lastname). I tried to change it in the CB-Core code, but was unsuccessful.

What can I do in order to only show the firstname (instead of firstname lastname) in the whole profile?

I tried to change the CB - Core but unfortunately was unsuccessful. Does anyone have an idea where to change it? (I want the variable formatname to only show the firstname and not the lastname).
