Confirm password - problem

Hello,

I've never had this problem with new registered users before but lately I've had a few users contact me indicating that they cannot register to the site because it tells them to try another password because the one they chose has been selected. So no matter how many different passwords they provide it won't go thru.

I've used the same template with no problems and I have the latest CB 1.4 and CB Subs 1.1.2.

Anything I should look for in particular to solve this issue?

The actual error is

This username/password already in use. Please try another.

I have my registration set up for email not username so not sure if a person has the same name that is what is causing the conflict.

Any response to this?

Hello, I've got the same problem upgrading CB 1.4 on joomla 1.5 and with template ja_nickel.
I upgraded because before some users wasn't able to register due to cookie error.
If somebody has any idea. Thanks
