creating websites like linked in

Hi, I am new to php. I am in the process of creating a community website like linked-in.
Is the Joomla and community builders are the right choice for that.

Please suggest a good framework for the same.

"website like ..." suggests nothing. you need to come out with a set of specific site functions you would like your users to perform on your site, before we can say if CB will pull it off for you or not.

1. user will be able create there profile with all personal informations,
2. upload photos, personal videos or can link you tube vedios,
3. personal videos depending on the hit should be ranked and shown in the profile and in a common home page.
4. is profile can be viewed as subdomains?
5. searching the profile by zipcode or name

These are the features I am planning. Will the CB be the right choice?
