Blurry Thumbnail Avatars was created by v.p

Hey Guys

Not sure why, but when a user submits a avatar for their profile, this image is blurry when its re-sampled to thumbnail format. An image used from the gallery looks fine.

I've tried a few things to fix it ie changing the default image application but to no avail.
It makes our otherwise great site look amaturish!

I have edited the avatars outside of CB so they look ok, but I would rather that this is done automatically by CB, as I suspect its supposed to.
