Took a look and I do not see anything wrong on your part.
Only thing possible is that you have an old php version that might be cause of issue as well as some php functions that have been suppressed by your host.
If you can package your website using akeeba backup, we might be able to debug locally and see what the exact issue is.
At the moment we cannot replicate this behavior on our test sites.
