Known issues resolved with CB 1.7. The author tab is due for a complete rewrite with release of CB 2.0. For a more advanced author tab I recommend becoming a professional subscriber and obtaining incubator project CB Articles which provides paging, searching, display count and uses CMS specific API to determine article access.
