Slide effect, search user doesnt work . CB1.4

Hi there im using Joomla! 1.5.22 and Community Builder 1.4

Default userlist:

in the userlist you can search every user, on the right ->"was" a link that slided out and opened a field to type in the user name to search.

This link isnt there anymore, and the type field is showing default, so there is no slide effect or else.

I have made no changes, yesterday it worked, today its not working.

What could be the problem?

I think I have the same problem (unless I have not understood you).

One of my userlists has the search facility showing all the time (viewing from the frontend). All the other lists that I have created - chosen from the dropdown menu - have a "Search Users" link which reveals the search facility with a slide down action only when you click it.

It was the default list but the problem persists with that particular list even if I make a different one the default, or unpublish then re-publish it.

Can anyone help?

I think I have found the solution to this. An apostrophe in a username in the list was causing a parse error.
