How can I get a URL with /username for each user

How can I get a URL for each user with /username at the end of URL, such as www.domain.com/username , rather than www.domain.com/View-user-profile.html?user=396 . We've a large number of users who all want a domain name with their username at the end of our domain URL.

you must use a Sef extension
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/sef

I'm using an SEF extension (sh404sef), but here wouldn't I need to manually map every URL such as View-user-profile.html?user=396 to a particular username, and do that for every user.
We have a large number of users, and I'd like to know of an easy, automatic way of doing it.

I have joomsef and in my sites user profile URL is mysite.com/your-profile(item menu title)/username
