New CB field blank page

Hi,

when I try to create a new cb field in CB Field Manager, I get a blank page!

Could you help me with this problem?

Exact CB version: 1.4
Exact Joomla version: 1.5.22
Detailed description of problem: Click on New Field in CB Field Manager in Joomla Backend and I get a blank page.
Any error messages reported with Joomla debug mode on and error reporting set to maximum: No
Any error messages reported with your hosts error log: No
Any ACL modification components? (JACL, etc..): No
Any SEF components?: No
Move or encrypt configuration.php?: No
Upgrade from CB version ?? or fresh install? : Upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4
Migrated from Joomla version ?? or fresh install?: Fresh install
What browser is issue present in? : Mozilla, Chrome, IE8 that I checked.

Blank pages usually leave error log messages.

Turn on Joomla debug and see if you get better messages.

I too am having the exact same issue
Could you please tell me whether you found a fix and if so what was it

Joomla debug showed no errors
And I have tried the fix suggestions in my post below.

I once had a similar issue before (last time I upgraded and I found the fix in another forum which was attributed to sql not CB - the fix was to change varchar 255

All Community Builder comprofiler_field_values table fieldid rows all match existing fields.

All Community Builder comprofiler_field_values table rows link to correct fieldtype fields in comprofiler_field table.

All Community Builder fields from comprofiler_fields are present as columns in the comprofiler table.

Checking Community Builder folders:
Avatars and thumbnails folder is Writeable.
All Core CB mandatory basics Database is up to date.

But still unable to create new fields
I am able to edit existing ones thought

I can also create new tabs and new lists just not new fields

After updating then seeing this problem I did again implement the recommended changes in cb.core.xml
