Hello,
I've been looking into installing a CCK to handle design and user-submitted materials. But I'm wondering if Community Builder is a better long-term option.
For example, my latest client is a real estate company. They have several employees who all need to create property listings. The listings have a certain layout -- text, photos, and other fields in designated positions.
I need to create easy-to-use front-ends forms that employees can use to submit all details for a property listing. One of the fields should be a pulldown to place the listing into one of three categories ("draft," "active," or "sold/rented").
Employees need to see all their listings from the front end to edit them or keep track of what they have submitted or move them into a different category.
In summary, here are the essential functions I'm asking about:
1. Create forms that appear on the front end only for certain members.
2. Members choose to place their submissions into pre-selected categories.
3. Automatically generate articles, with various form fields appearing in custom layouts.
4. Members edit their form submissions later (after logging out and back in again).
5. Members can log in and see all the forms they have created.
I've looked at Community Builder documentation, but I'm not clear on all this. Can someone please help me figure out if Community Builder is a god option for this set of requirements?
Thanks,
Matthew
