adds questionmarks

After installing CB my other mandatory compinent shows questionmarks in the db-fields...and tehrefor textfields, any suggestions?

uninstall CB - i doubt that the installation has anything to do with the issues you are experiencing.

I ended up uninstalling everything and doing a complete new install of joomla and components, reinstalling the databse-backup gave me errors on the quotes which had all been replaced.
So I wonder whether this relates to "magic-quotes" being on or off in mysql and joomla or being reset by one of the scripts.
What are the mandatory settings in CB?
As I am on joomla on the latest joomla 1.5 plus Apache & MySQL client version: 5.0.91 and PHP extension: mysql server 5.1.50. runing on a (latest) centos linux server with ispconfig 3.?
Suggestions are more than welcome!
