How to generate confirmcode #help

Hi, I made the registration form in my own code... because I have another needs but when I send the email, I need to write the activation link too.

The link is an easy thing:

www.example.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=confirm&confirmcode=XXXXXXX

Please tell me the guides of how (inside code external to CB) to generate the confirmcode.
