Exporting Users Without CB Juice was created by prthnon
Greetings.
I have a list of "Author" status users I am trying to export - but the Juice is useless in this task.

Surely there must be a better way by now.
Any suggestions.
Thanks!

I am using the component sql2excel to run different sql select statements and provide the queries for downloading in excel in front & backend.

Thanks for the suggestion Wolfgang...

I took a look at this product but when I see screenshots of code that must be written / rewritten, updated whatever... I zone out.

I've been building my Joomla network for 3 years now and I am tired of coding.

Somewhere - some bright young joomla coder must have a simple 1,2,3 export to csv... after all it is 2011 and I don't think exporting from a DB is a new process.

Any other ways to get a simple CSV list OUT of CB?

Just use phpmyadmin to export the comprofiler table.

Suggest you look at CB API document (FREE download area) to see database structure.

Thanks for the reply Nick.
I can appreciate all the great, hard work that goes into a component like CB.

I took your advice and exported via myphp - sure it kinda works, but I get every detail, rows and rows of goobly-gook that I now have to reformat and spend hours making sense of.

Certainly I can't be the only CB user who wants to regularly export an updated user list from the backend. A quick, name, company, email... done.

Hopeful someone reading this thread is or will be working on a plugin or something soon.

Better days...
