I am building my first website with joomla 1.6.1
I have installed CB with no add-ons 1.4.0
I have installed JSN Imageshow 3.0.3 with JSN Dome Template 2.1.3
(I have also installed Akeeba and kunena)

Everything is perfect except in one scenario. When I view my site in IE8 after clicking on a CB menu item the JSN Imageshow modules become duplicated. An identical (partially functional) module appears below the original module.

The menu items are all in the "comprofiler" area and include:
User Profile
User Lists
User Profile Edit
Username/Password reminder
Login Page

The exceptions are:
Registration Page
Logout Action

No other menu items cause this problem.

If you want to see an example of what I'm saying, you can visit the site at www.fairyplayground.com

The "home" link shows the page as it should be, the "Login" link shows the bug. I have only tried Firefox4 and IE8. Firefox has no issues. IE8 shows the problem.

I still have not figured out the problem, but I have found out a little more information.
By accident I discovered that the problem disappeared as long as I was using the sample data from Joomlashine.
I have since tried as many variations as I could think of to see why my pictures were causing the problem and not the sample data.
My final evaluation is this:

The problem only exists when four factors are present in combination.

1. You must be viewing with Internet Explorer (or at least not firefox)
2. You must be viewing a page by way of a comprofiler (community builder) link
3. There has to be an active JSN Imageshow Module
4. The Module must be playing any user created data

I'm moving on to another extension at this point. It is too bad. This would have been awesome.
If anyone can still offer help I would gladly reconsider using it again.

suggest you use default joomla template to see if your template is causing issue.

Thank you for responding.

I did try the beez2 template as well. No difference.

Have reviewed your site and it is working perfectly fine (no module duplication) in IE7-9. Please provide what you're using for means of testing as found nothing wrong in FF, Chrome, IE7-9. If using IE Tester please understand it is for basic CSS testing and is not a reliable means of stability tests for browser compatibility; please use actual IE9 in development mode and switch the rendering engine.

Thank you for taking the time to view my site. I was experimenting with a different, less desirable, module at the time when you saw the site. Sorry for my impatience, but I'm on some what of a deadline and need to get something functional ready as soon as possible.

I have returned the site to the state where I am experiencing the problem. I have moved it to a new url temporarily.

www.fairyplayground.com

If you are willing to take another look, I would certainly prefer to be able to use the joomlashine imageshow module if at all possible.

Thanks again!
