Language v.1.2.2 vs. 1.4

Hi.

I have just installed CB 1.4 on a J1.6.3 site. The site is in swedish, and on svenskjoomla.se I found a translation. This translation is however for CB v.1.2.2.

I didn't think it would matter MUCH in translation (use the 1.2.2 language file, check trough the site and see if I find anything not translated and add it). But I can't get the language to work AT ALL!

Can it be that the missing translations are causing J1.6.3 to use the default english instead, or am I just a moron?

CB 1.2 language packages are unfortunately not compatible with CB 1.4
