Filtering registrants directly into a sub group

Can you filter new registrants directly into a sub group using the information they give in a drop down menu choice on registration? I have a Teacher Plan and a Pupil Plan but want to separate them, on registration, straight into their own school group. Thank you

What exactly do you mean by "group" - how do you define this entity?

Three solutions:

1. Have a drop-down CB field with the names of school groups and have student select value during registration. Then create CB User List filtered off the school group you desire.

2. GroupJive can be used to automatically add a user to a GroupJive group.

3. CBSubs can be used also.
