download/install not correct

Hey everyone,

Im trying to install CB 1.4 with the latest down from the downloads section on Joomla 1.5.28

now i used to have Jomsocial installed but had too many errors so am going to try CB..

So now when i go to install with the latest download im getting messages like:
"JomSocial is a social networking component for Joomla!
Thank you for choosing JomSocial, please click on the following button to complete your installation.
"

and then it will get half way though install and die, with the follow:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\wamp\www\MSExtra\libraries\joomla\filesystem\archive\zip.php on line 310"

but if i go into the components menu now in the drop down it has "Jomsocial" item and more options....

Im pretty sure this is meant to be Community builder and no Jomsocial?
I had a look though my DB and cant find any tables relating to the old install of Jomsoical anywhere

From error message. It looks like you still have jomsocial installer leftovers present.
Maybe a joomla system plugin or something like that.
A fresh joomla install allows to start fresh without lefovers.
