is CB working in joomla 1.7? it displays an error when i try to install it

Normally, it's not advised to try an alpha or beta version. There are too many changes that take place before the final version is released, so compatibility issues have not normally been addressed. I see the same response from at least one other person, so it seems either there are still issues with Joomla 1.7 installation or CB is simply not compatible yet.

No its not - looks like Joomla team has once again broken many third party extensions.

Hopefully things will be fixed when Joomla 1.7 is released (not holding my breath based on Joomla 1.6 experience).

We will most likely have to address this short-coming with new version of CB.

Stick with 1.64. 1.7 beta is lethal. $ out of 4 sites trashed.
