Install

Hey,

I can succesfully install all the modules for community builder, but when I try and install the actual component it just goes back to the opening joomla admin page (control panel).

Any ideas on how I can get community builder up and running?

Guessing that your php environment is not allowing more than 2M uploads and that you haven't looked at the README file (and installation guide) included in the package.

I checked that all out and I couldn't see a limit. Any idea how to find and change the limit?

On Joomla 1.5:
Backend Help -> System Info -> PHP Information

On Joomla 1.6:
Backend Site -> System Information -> PHP Information

Search for upload_max_filesize parameter.

If this is not over 2M ask you host how to increase it.

Please, next time give details about your environment.
I am guessing you are trying to install CB 1.4 (?) on some Joomla (?) environment.

Thanks heaps, my limit is under 2m.
Ill contact my host, and just in case you still want to know, CB1.4 on Joomla 1.5.

I'm glad I found this though I don't have issues with my upload limits but I can't still get to install the main CB Component.

Here's the report i get after attempting, "There was an error uploading this file to the server.
Unable to find install package"

Please how can I get this sorted out?
