Password - This field is required error

I just installed the latest version of CB on my site. On the registration page I keep getting a "This Field is Required" pop-up when entering the password and verifying. I have checked everything 10 times and the settings are correct. I can't figure out why I'm typing in the password and verifying then it telling me the password is required. ANyone else having this issue?

Same problem here! I have Joomla 1.5.23 and CB 1.7
Tried to disable SEF, but the problem is still there.

The only temporary solution was to have CB randomly assign a password

There is apparently a bug in the system. I had to uninstall and go back to a previous version of CB. Once I did that it worked fine.
