These are the kind of hidden incompatibilities that we are looking for fixing before releasing CB 1.7 Stable.

Background of this bug after looking after it: It's a public function of Joomla 1.6 that suddenly became protected in Joomla 1.7: I opened a thread on the Joomla framework devs list to mention this additional backwards-incompatibility of Joomla 1.7:

We will work around it for CB 1.7 stable anyway.

Cant wait for the v1.7 to come out. I have Joomla 1.7 stable and I tried to install the CB1.4 (yes yes I know: Check for compatibilities first), but I thought "Hey 1.7 is just a bit upgraded version of 1.6". How little did I know .

Nice release! I have found no bug at the moment.

Excepted that the version check is kind of tricked:

"Votre version est la : 1.7
Dernière version : 1.7 RC "

But nothing necessary!

I just installed the updated version(1. Aug) on Joomla 1.7. It seems good,
but CB is not showing in the component dropdown?

What can be wrong? Is there something i haven't activated thr right way?

I have upgraded from 1.4 to 1.7 today, and now nothing works, just a bunch of errors. I followed the upgrade instructions. What is wrong?
