Problems with registration email.

Hey guys,

I'm having problems getting the registration email to be sent to users upon registration.

I have tried a number of different things but cannot seem to get it to work. Neither the activation email or registration email are sent upon registration.

The mass mail funcion seems to work, so joomla is definetly connected to my email host.

Any ideas?

After upgrading to 1.7 the Ajax Username checker and Ajax Email checker both just return ERROR and close

It does run on the front end but it is NOT blocking used fields, which mean people can Register with used emails and usernames

this thread is also in the Problems with registration email it which it said"I believe something is not configured appropriately on your host"

I have the same site on THREE different and ALL show the same error

any ideas ??
