How do I hide a tab from the 'edit profile'

I have the googlemap plugin to display a map on the profile, it's working fine, but when I go to edit profile, the tab with the map is also shown, but I would like it to be hidden, as the field is read-only.
It's on a seperate tab at the moment, but if needed it can be moved to an existing tab.

You need to contact the plugin author as I believe modifications are needed.

Ok, now just to be sure, it's a joomla plugin, not a CB plugin, that does the map displaying, and the tab is a CB tab created only for this, and the field is a CB read-only delimiter field.
I'm not sure how a joomla plugin can affect whether the CB tab is displayed in the edit profile page?

No way to do this without modifying code, sorry.

I was just thinking, shouldn't the logic in CB take care of the field being read-only, and not show it on the edit profile page because of that?
Or is that an enhancement request
