vorrei fare l'upgrade come da oggetto. Come devo muovermi? molte grazie (uso j1.5.23)

please, i can't install the plugin of italian language beacuse there is an error of xml ..........
of course I must to use a client ftp.... I have the italian plugin but I don't know how I must proceed. (Now I have extract the file .zip and there is a folder with these files:
* admin_language.php
* admin_reference_language.php
* calendar-locals.js
* cbteamplugins_language.php
* images
* index.html
* it-IT.com_comprofiler.sys.ini
* italian.php
* italian.xml
