Duplicate emails

Hi everybody.

I have a website installed with Joomla 1.7 and CB 1.7.
I have a problem when I register new people to my website (as an administrator in the backend) using the CB component > new user. Two emails are sent to the users with two different login. As far as I understood, one is created by core Joomla and the other one by CB. How would it bepossible to not to send the first one?

Another question: I'm using some lists, but as a search criteria, only the first column is used which is not relevant to me. I would like the user to be able to search by any of the columns.
My actual settings are:
Search fields : all fields
Search criteria: any criteria

Unfortunately this is a Joomla bug reported since Joomla 1.6 and not addressed yet by joomla team.

I don't understand what you mean by only the first column.
Each CB field can be marked as searchable in CB Field manager.

I guess the double notification when someone registers on the frontend comes from the same issue.


I didn't understood that 'Consultable dans la liste des utilisateurs?:' meant searchable in the user list.
Maybe something like 'Champ de recherche dans la liste des utilisateurs' would be more obvious.

No - frontend should be ok.
