Update profile button gives error.

"reach to end of function"

after we hit update profile... it's sends us to a blank page url: index.php?option=com_comprofiler&Itemid=95 with javascript popup saying "reach to end of function"

by blank... i mean the component/CB part if blank but modules and everything else is appearing right.


Also, it does updates the info in the db... only problem is that it gives out that popup.

Virtually no information about versions and environment.

To simplify things: please install clean Joomla site (Joomla 1.7) with CB 1.7 and nothing else and see if issue exists.

If yes, then give exact steps to replicate.

Otherwise if issue does not exist, this means something else is causing it.

we have Joomla 1.5.22 and CB 1.4.

the site has a lot of things on and can't do a reinstall.

Well one of these "lots of things" is causing the problem.

Turn on debugging, check error logs is all I can really offer.

OK - well are you talking about joomla debug or CB has it's own debug.

if so??? how can i turn on the CB debug.

also, i apologies if my questions are too dumb... i am using cb for the first time.

Joomla debug.

And ask your host for instructions on how to check the server error log.

Again - its not CB that is causing this - something else you have installed is interfering
