I have CB & CB subs running on a joomla 1.5+ site with no problems.

I have set up a new site with joomla 1.7 and cannot install the Comprofiler. I get the message:-

Copy failed
JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file <span>/</span>home<span>/</span>swanage5/public_html/tmp/install_4e69e514396e0/install.comprofiler.sql to <span>/</span>home<span>/</span>swanage5/public_html/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/install.comprofiler.sql

The com profile moderator, cb login and comprofiler online all installed with no problem.

The site is hosted with 5quid host (I'm a reseller) and the PHP version is 5.2+

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

any help greatfully recieved especiall since if I can get this resolved I'll then be able to install CB_Subs.

I see 2 things to check first:
- ownership and permissions of administrator/components directory ?
- maximum file upload size in PHP > 2 MB.

Yep the licence (for CB subs) is held by Steve Osboune on behalf of the Swanage & Purbeck Hostpitality Association and is being used on the subdomain members.visitswanage.com, which I maintain for the SPHA.

The joom 1.7 site that I have set up is Swanage5050Club.co.uk and the problem has occured during the install of community builder, not CB Subs. once this issue is resolved I will then purchase another licence for CB subs which I have no doubt will install properly on top of CB itself.

As i said originally everything is working on the original Joom 1.5+ site just not on the newer Joom 1.7 site .

any help appreciated.
