Execute mysql query to populate cb_Field on Displa

Hi All,

I am looking for a way to dynamically perform a mysql query the currently viewing user and populate a custom field which has been added to a TAB.

I am sure that is an way to do this, but I have not found where to add the query for the custom field.

Can you guys give me a hand with this issue?

This if for joomla 1.6 wth CB 1.7

Well, I did find that field type should be "delimiter" type. THat did allow me to pull the current user name.

Now, I am just looking to add my sql query to my other database (on same system). Php is what I am looking for to pull the data and stuff it in the CB custom field.

The CB Query field plugin available for Professional members can do this.

Okay...Great. Now I know that there is something to do the trick. I will read up on it and consider the professional membership.
