Cannot install comprofiler

Hi All,

Just for the record - I have checked everything i can think of and have access to.

Right, so it is simple as that - comprofiler installation fails without any error numbers or anything else that would allow to pin-point the issue.

I have just before that installed Kunena and it is over 2M, so size issue is ruled out.

It all works pretty fast, after clicking intall button within about 15 sec it gives me an error.

Anyone has any idea what to do??

What exact error messages.

Error message
"There was an error uploading this file to the server."

I get impression it just refuses to even start uploading it.

Then you need to check Joomla permissions and the php upload filesize parameter.

OK, changed permissions on tmp folder to 777. Now i get an error

"There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Unable to find install package"

I have also increased max filesize to 100M. Does not seem to have any affect either.

Is there a way to install this component manually?

This error means that most likely your parameter is still too low.

Exactly how did you increase this parameter and exactly how did you verify this?
