CB support for Joomla 1.7

CB support for Joomla 1.7 was created by trugge
Having upgraded to Joomla 1.7 I receive this error when wanting to use CB

Fatal error: Call to a member function getCfg() on a non-object in /home5/xhealthb/public_html/cure-it/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.foundation.php on line 3228

How can I overcome this problem

I am a Free member right now, and I don't see CB 1.7 to be available to me.
Do you know if a membership upgrade is what is needed?
