I'm on Joomla 1.5.23 with Legacy1.0, Sobi2 ver2.9.4.1, Community Builder 1.7 and using Rocket theme Versatility II Sienna template.
My issue for some time now has been with Internet Explorer and no one seems to have the answers.
IE7; When mousing over tool tips (field descriptions) on the front end forms pages of Sobi2 and CB, the forms disappear. Refreshing the page brings them back until you mouse over again.
IE8; The main pull-down menu framework stays behind
IE9; When mousing over the tool tips in Sobi2 and CB forms, the tips are hidden behind the forms.
This problem does not happen on every machine and it doesn't happen with any other browser.

Is this an IE problem, a component problem, a template problem or something in between?
Someone out there must have had similar behavioral problems with IE and has a solution.
Since 95% of my customers use IE, it's embarrassing to tell them to switch browsers.
