No Icons in administration area

Hi I've installed CB on Joomla 1.7.
After the installation I've noticed there are no Icons in administration
area and also no icons in the front-end registration form.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times but no result.
During the installation process I've noticed that CB stops at
step one but when I click on continue to step 2 it finishes.

But still no icons in backend and frontend

Please help!

During the installation process it stops at step one.
Only with one green statement:
Database update successful or something like that.
The other statements are not visible only a broken picture icon.
It then asks to press the link for step two - after I did that it completed the
installation (at least it says so).
I can activate and sync the users but neither in the backend or frontend are icons
present. This makes it impossible to work with community builder.

Please, help!

I also noticed that if I install CB on my local XAMPP everything
works fine but not on the webserver.

During the installation Process there is supposed to show up the
Community Builder Logo but I also just habe a broken image icon.
