"Dynamic" fields during registration

ok, and what if I did all this, and nothing happened on the reg page?

So I have added the plugin, published it, went to the field manager, added a condition to one of my fields, saved it, went back to the front end, tried registration, and nothing changed on the reg page.

Tried it with a radio button, so if one is selected then some new fields should come up, also tried with a text field, so if the text field contains "A" then set an other field to "not mandatory".

Neither worked.....

So what could I make wrong?

Thx!

I have had a similar problem.

I used the component and could only get it to work by setting it to Show or Hide depending on my conditional value. I left the fields as Required but could never get the Mandatory piece to function correctly.

I have a drop down list and it seems to work ok using that.

Is it a live site or test site?

I have a single drop down list configured. I have then set up the conditional as follows:

Fiend conditional self
If Field
<myfield>
Is Equal To
Mens Team
Then Show

That is enough to make my field appear. I still have it set as a required field and I have Show at Registration enabled

Semi live :), so basically the page is live, but so far we had no registration.

But it does not work on my test site either (xampp)....

I think I'm doing the same. I have a field called "test". For that field I have set up:
//Field condition self, If "Occupation" equal to A then hide//

So I assume if on the "Occupation" field someone selects A, then the test field should disappear.

Nothing happens....

Thx!

Try reversing it. I always went with Show as my option and it seems to work. So it would be

If Occupation not equal to A then Show
