redirect page is incorrect

cblogin: I leave everything blank and click on login to test as some user will do that. After clicking on the login it opens a page that is not in on my website template.

index.php/component/comprofiler/login.html(this page is just white with the login on the left)

as far as i know this login screen should actually open up within my website.

The same happens when I click on forgot your password.

index.php/component/comprofiler/lostpassword.html It also just opens a white page instead of loading that page into my website.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this.

Please try with SEF off.

Still happens with sef off for me.

follow FAQ articles to turn on joomla debug and see if error message appears.

I did find an error with an old joomlaseo plugin. I uninstalled that and still get the issue. Basically when I login/out it takes me to the domain/component/comprofiler/login page which is blank. If I refresh it shows the index with the same url.

I turned off sef and mod_rewrite.

I get the same issue with url index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=logout

Basically you can log in and out, but the uninformed user will just think the sites broke and go somewhere else.
