CB 1.7 Translation

Hi,

I have upgraded to CB 1.7 from CB 1.2 running on Joomla 1.5.23.

French plugin for CB 1.7 is installed.

Everything was working perfectly before. After the upgrade I lost a couple of settings, no big deal. The problem is the translation, I don't know how to translate custom fields that I added and also "Introduction text for registration" in the registration config, don't know where to translate that as well.

I played a bit with the language files but no success so far.

Joomfish 2.1.7 is installed and bothe languages (french and english) works.

It seems that I'm the only one with this problem. No luck...

Nop, you are not alone!
I have the same problem, the only addition is that the 99% of my translations are in JoomFish.
I have added the .XML which makes it possible to translate the strings.
Problem is that the translation is not shown on the front-end.
Had any luck meanwhile?

Since I only needed CB for the extra user fields, I used ChronoForms instead.

I wish CB would support multilingual sites more, other than that, it's a really great component.
