Menu Id Shows up in SEF Urls

Not sure if this was a change to community builder in version 1.7.1, but when I see the url to a profile it has an extra "?Itemid=127" as seen here:
www.hikrs.com/component/comprofiler/userprofile/Josh?Itemid=127

I have both Search Engine Friendly URLs and Use URL rewriting activated in the joomla admin panel. Until recently I don't recall getting the menu item in the url. Was this to fix a error? Or is this not common for sef urls? Just wondering.

But I figure it is not supposed to be this way considering the joomlapolis url as seen here:
www.joomlapolis.com/my-profile/userprofile/nant

Weird, I upgraded from joomla 1.7.2 to joomla 1.7.3 and for some reason this fixed the problem. Not sure why, but I'm glad it worked!
