Confirmation link

Hello everybody

I am using Joomla 1.7.2 and CB 1.7.1

The registration process works fine until the registrant receives the confirmation email with the confirmation link. When clicking on the confirmation link an new tab opens in the browser but is not leading to ANY page, a blank screen keeps searching the page endlessly.

Actually in the user management list the new registrants confirmation has happened, but the registrant doesn't know if his confirmation was successful and what is happening next since he didn't land on the cb webpage with the appropriate information.

The same issue when clicking on

URL for menu link to this list: index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=usersList&listid=2
URL for search link to this list: index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=usersList&listid=2&searchmode=1

on top of the CB List page. A new tab opens in the browser but again is not leading to ANY page, a blank screen keeps searching the page endlessly.

Does anybody now how to solve this problem

Ditto on J2.5.1 and CB1.8

Blank page when clicking the link in the Confirmation email.

There is a blank page FAQ article in the FAQ section - please study it.
