how to add 4,000 values to a dropdownlist easily

Dear sir,

i am very happy and comfortable to work on CB
but i have problem regarding adding values to drop down list

i need to add a drop down list which consists of 4,000 numbers

like
LM-001
LM-002 and so on
it is very tough to add manually every number


Can any One suggest me an easy method like editing tables in php or code


your help would be highly obliged

Then you should be able to use phpmyadmin to populate the values.
