CB customizing profile deatils

i have cb installed and its not easy to change or customize the files of the community builder. i have problem how to make the status online field searcheable . however i have changed little here in this site

I don't understand why you want to make online/offline searchable.. are you using CB profiles as profiles for each site or actual member profiles?

i want to filter online users , is it possible ?
