I recently had a request to insert the User ID in the welcome email and the profile. I have figured out a way for the profile by using a module but am stumped with the welcome email. Is this possible somehow, if not, is there some alternative that I can use? Please help! :S

Thanx nant, that works nicely. Like i already mentioned I have found a long winded very messy way of displaying the ID on the profile page using a code anywhere module, but I must ask:
Is there a proper neater way of displaying the user ID on the profile please?
