How to upgrade CB and migrate from Joomla1.5

I am resuming work on a site I built a few years ago, and am looking for advice on how best to upgrade.

Currently my site is running CB 1.2.2 and Joomla 1.5.25

I am considering upgrading to Joomla 1.7 and CB 1.7.1. What is the ideal course of action? Should I upgrade CB and then migrate Joomla, or just migrate Joomla to 1.7 and then upgrade CB?

I am using CB Subs as well, and SOBI.

Ok, I've upgraded to the latest CB version 1.7.1.
Then I used JUpgrade 1.2.4.
In the new Joomla 1.7 migrated version of my site, in the admin panel, I do not see a menu item for Community Builder (or any other of my plugins).

Any advice?

I have no experience with jupgrade - perhaps posting on their forums would help.
