Personal Fundraising Page using CB?

I am currently doing work for a local charity and they are wanting to have a personal fundraising page for each site member, ie. the member has a page that takes donations and shows money raised, and they can post a link to all their friends etc. to donate.

Anyone seen anything like this for joomla/CB?

I'm in the same situation. I've tried JomSocial with JomGive and found them very clunky so now I'm looking at CB.

A bit of Googling and I found a slideshow demo-ing JoomlaTabs from 2009, which looks ideal but they seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth since then.

I know this is an old thread, but has anybody found a solution like this?

I managed to cobble something together using CB & Joomdonation. Have a look at:

Last year, I too, cobbled together CB and JoomDonation although not as nice as Paul. I am working on it again for this year's campaign.

I am curious what was so clunky about JomSocial and jGive. Because I volunteer for a non-profit, cost is a consideration

Thinking back I never got chance to fully try out JomGive as the charity didn't want to use PayPal.

I couldn't find a JomGive payment plug in for WorldPay and wasn't confident of being able to set this up myself.

So JomGive might be fine for you if PayPal is ok.

Joomdonation has lots of payment plug ins and I found the support very helpful (for existing features).

EDIT: Just spotted that JomGive is now JGive and looks like they've added a lot since I tried it. Definitely worth a try although JoomDonation is actually cheaper than JGive for the year.
