site freezing / crashing

site freezing / crashing was created by tgribble

hi there

after i have enabled CB on my site, every now and then after i have been editing user data the whole site freezes/crashes.

any advice for this?

joomla 1.6.3
latest CB

We do not have a latest CB version ....

And please update your Joomla to at least Joomla 1.7 as Joomla 1.6 is dead and no longer supported.

The CB version is 1.7.1
I thought joomla 1.6.3 was supported?

Any clue to the freezing up of the site?
I have followed the installation guide to the letter. I have seen there is history of this type of issue before, do you happen to have some ideas for me to try?

I may try to update to Joomla 1.7 but worry the site will have other issues with components etc
