Limited User registration

Hi,
is there a way to limit the registration?
In my case it would be that only user that are member of the club can register on the site.
The name of the members are listend in the database in an extra table.
Is it possible to check if the name exists in the member table and only if so allow a registration?
Does such a plugin exist?

Yes, the CB DB Looukup field that is available for Professional members can do this.
