I have a website in Joomla 1.5, and I will "migrate" to Joomla 2.5.
I've been trying to use jUpgrade to migrate for two weeks. I just can't. Too many errors, non-existent support, etc. I gave up on jUpgrade.
So what I'm thinking to do is to install a clean Joomla 2.5, and then import users and articles to the new site, using this tool:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/migration-a-conversion/joomla-migration/15807
And I will change templates, install new modules, install the extensions again, etc.
The only problem is losing user's data from Community Builder profiles, that's not very fun.
So, is there a way to import CB data, from a Joomla 1.5 website with CB 1.8 to a new Joomla 2.5 installation?
