Creating a text link to a search query

Hi, I've got a site with 300 members, each of whom is a member of one of 10 groups. I can easily put up a search and filter by those groups, but I've been asked if I can create a fixed 'menu' with a text link to each of the groups.

Is this possible, to call a set of results by passing a parameter to comprofiler in a URL?

If by group you mean Joomla ACL group, then perhaps you can create a user list.
