I've been able to add a custom_field value to the message of the email in "ACTION REQUIRED! New User Registration Pending Approval" that admins get when a new user needs approval.

However, i need the custom field to show up in the subject line.

Currently, when the email arrives, only the message shows the field value. The subject shows the fieldname instead of the value.

[CB_CAMPUSATTENDED]

works in body of email but not the subject.

Any ideas?

Eg. email subject appears like this.

Subject: "ACTION REQUIRED! [CB_CAMPUSATTENDED] New User Registration Pending Approval"

A new user has registered at xxxxx and requires approval.
This email contains their details

Name - namexxxxx
E-mail - emailxxxx@xxxx.com
Username - userxxx
Campus - campusxxxxxx

Would there be a way to implement it or can you point me to the right direction? I don't mind diving into a bit of code.

Or is this task too daunting to accomplish?

Thanks for your reply.

I am trying to add a custom field to the admin email. I can't for the life of me figure out where to edit the admin email. Can you help me with that?
