Firstly I must say that I am very much a novice and I'm trying to work out if CB is right for our task. I am using Joomla to replicate an existing Google website. I want to set up a community where members can register their details including location AND where the administrator can access that data to create a google map. We already have about 300 members in a group and I want to transfer their existing data into the new (eg CB) database so that they don't have to reregister. CB seems suitable for the registration and membership management bit but I don't know how to access the database. If anyone can help I'd be very grateful indeed!
